Look at these birds! Those are from a project Cevin and I are working on together for Motion Graphics. I am just sitting here in the lab waiting for Cevin to get done working, and so I messed with them a little in Photoshop. Now check out this image:
This is also for the Motion Graphics project. We are doing a thing with silhouettes, and we are planning on compositing together some footage of real hands with a 3D bird. The image above is the design for the bird. The hand in the picture is Grace, Cevin's sister. We went to Cevin's house for Fall Break this past weekend and Grace let us pixelate her hands for our project. More on Fall Break later. It was a really good time.

i like how your sketch of the bird looks like a woodcut or linoleum print. you should explore that aesthetic more!
