UPDATE: Got the mandolin on Thursday and I am truly terrible. BUT I can sort of play 4 chords and that's something, right? My fingers are mutilated from playing, so I hope it's worth it.
I made a "photo object" animation for class last night, so I'll put that up soon. Don't get your hopes up though because it's not too good.

dude! i am extremely envious. though i wouldn't have anytime to fool around with learning music for the next few months... i'll just have to live vicariously through you while hammering nails and sawing wood.
