NEW BLOG

Well, I got married and my last name changed, so I changed my blog too.
I started a new blog at www.cathornbrugh.blogspot.com.

Check it out!

A friend of mine introduced me to "cross processing" photos in Photoshop the other day. I guess this was all the rage inthe seventies. With film, you develop your negatives in slide chemicals. In Photoshop, you edit your RGB curves. It's so cool. Needless to say, now I am obsessed. Here are some of my attempts...

Here is the photo from the post below...

Here is a photo Cevin took today of my Stop Motion Puppet while we were working on our final project. We stayed up all last night working on it, and we'll be up again late tonight. Luckily, the Spring showcase submission deadline is Thursday so these late nights can't last forever!

Here's a photo of our dog Callie from a recent visit to Knoxville. Callie is staying with my brother Christopher until the semester is over and we miss her! Only a week and a half to go!

Sorry for the lack of updates. The end of the semester is super busy around here.

Here is my somewhat final Circus themed poster for 3D Illustration. You might remember the concept art from a few posts ago.

And here is a 10 second club that Cevin and I did for my stop motion class. The theme was Twins that week, and I think we really captured the true essence of how twins interact on a day to day basis. See if you agree.

Spring Break was this past week. Cevin and I went to Oklahoma to visit his family there and we had a really good time. We went to the Arbuckle Wilderness while we were there, and we got a couple of pretty cool photos...

Also, while we were in Oklahoma we acquired a dog named Callie. She's a Blue Heeler and she's very sweet. We're really enjoying having her...

Here is my most recent Drawer Geeks Jr. submission. The theme this time is Ninja.

This is my concept for our newest 3D Illustration assignment. We're supposed to do 11x14 circus posters. I am not very satisfied with this concept. I think in the final I will change some of the textures. I'll be building the clown in Maya, but the rest with stay in Photoshop. I think I am going to try to find some cool font to use for the speech bubble.

You can see Cevin's concept for his poster here.
